Professor Paul Kenyon

Professor of Sheep Husbandry with a wide research interest that is broadly focused on improving the productivity of pastoral based sheep farms. Specific research programs include: maximizing ewe lamb (hogget) breeding performance, nutritional management to improve twin and triplet lamb survival and growth to weaning, effects of body size and condition on sheep efficiency, alternative herbages to improve animal performance, potential long term intra- and inter-generational effects of dam nutrition, pregnancy rank, parity and size (fetal programming).
